Overview
*** In the event of an EMERGENCY always call 911 first! ***
Harris County Constable Precinct 5 Phone: 281-463-6666
Briarmeadow is one of Harris County Precinct 5's contracted patrol areas. The subdivision pays the Precinct 5 Constable's Office to assign deputies specifically for our neighborhood to spend the vast majority of their time patrolling in and around our area. This increases visibility and reduces response times. The dispatch number is 281-463-6666 and the website is constablePCT5.com. To learn more about the Precinct 5 Contract Patrol Program contact Captain Mitch Hutter at Mitchell.Hutter@cn5.hctx.net.
It is recommended to call 9-1-1 first in the event of an emergency. This assures that all emergency medical, fire, and law enforcement agencies with jurisdiction in the area receive the dispatch. Follow up with a call directly to the Constables.
Alarm Systems
You are encouraged to list the constable dispatch number first with your alarm company if you have a monitored burglar alarm.
Vacation Watch
All Briarmeadow residents may request a Vacation Watch or Special Watch from the Constable's Office. There are two ways to request a Vacation Watch.
Please click this link Constable Vacation Watch and fill out your vacation watch electronically with the Constable's off
For an immediate response, you may also contact their dispatch office at 281-463-6666 and have a deputy sent out to take the information directly.
Filling out a Vacation Watch form and placing it in the slot at the Clubhouse is no longer an option.
Special Watch
To alert deputies to special circumstances so they can keep an extra watch, click on this link: Special Watch Request.
Silver Watch
Under this new program, senior citizens can sign up or be signed up by concerned family members for regular personal welfare checks. Once they fill out a short form on our website and provide their consent, one of our uniformed deputies will stop by on a weekly basis to make sure the registered senior citizen is safe and well. Click on this link for more information and to sign up: Silver Watch Request.

HPD Midwest DRT (Differential Response Team)
The DRT is a special squad in the Houston Police force that focuses on quality-of-life issues. They do not respond to emergencies - 911 is for that. The DRT addresses diverse problems such as un-kept lots, residential improprieties, apartment complex ordinance violations, environmental lawlessness and business licensing regulations, as well as responding to crime problems as identified through crime analysis. They have helped Briarmeadow in the past to secure abandoned businesses and deal with homeless encampments.
Residents can report issues by downloading and completing the Issue Resolution Form (see the form below), and either dropping it off at the Midwest station or emailing it to Sergeant Christian Zamores at christian.zamores@houstonpolice.org. She can also be reached at 832-394-1283 (office) or 346-577-5099. The DRT has proven very responsive in the past. The public can meet the officers of the Midwest DRT personally every third Wednesday of the month at the PIP (Positive Interaction Program) meetings held at 7:00 pm at the Midwest patrol station on 7277 Regency Square Blvd.
