• Construction on Stoney Brook Median Pathway

Residents are alerted to upcoming construction on the pathway in the middle of the Stoney Brook esplanade. The pathway will be replaced its entire length south of Richmond Avenue to Windswept Lane. Pedestrians are cautioned not to cross barricades set up by the construction contractor.  

• Three Candidates Elected at Annual Meeting; Board Meets in November on Tuesday the 11th.

Briarmeadow homeowners elected three candidates to fill open seats for 3-year terms at the Annual meeting held on October 14. The winners - all incumbents - were Paul Castro, Teres Counts, and John Weatherly. Next month on Tuesday, November 11, the Board will meet at six in the evening at the clubhouse.

• HPD Differential Response Team 

The DRT is a special squad in the Houston Police force that focuses on quality-of-life issues. They do not respond to emergencies - 911 is for that.  The DRT addresses diverse problems such as un-kept lots, residential improprieties, apartment complex ordinance violations, environmental lawlessness and business licensing regulations, as well as responding to crime problems as identified through crime analysis. • Key Fob Distribution

To obtain a pool key fob, please complete and submit the Key Fob Registration Form and the Fob Agreement and Terms of Use form and submit them either:

You may also visit the Genesis office Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to drop off the completed forms and payment. Once they confirm your account is current, you will be able to receive your key fob during your visit.

• New Management Company for Briarmeadow Homeowners 

Genesis Community Management was selected by the HOA Board to assume management of Briarmeadow, effective July 1, 2025. All homeowners who have registered an email address with the HOA should have already received an introductory email from Genesis. Introducing the Genesis Management App

The Genesis Management app is designed to make managing your account and accessing community information simple and convenient. Through the app, you can:

- Pay your maintenance fees

- Access important community documents

- View updates and announcements from your Board

- Monitor your account status in real-time

The app is available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.  Simply search for Genesis Management to get started. You can also access the same features on the desktop version through the Homeowner Portal at www.genesiscommunity.com.

Homeowner Portal Invitation

Homeowners should have already received a separate email from noreply@genesiscommunity.com inviting you to join the Genesis Homeowner Portal. Please accept this invitation, as it will provide access to both the Genesis Management app and the Homeowner Portal through their website.  This portal will be your go-to resource for managing your account, making payments, and staying up to date with community news.

The HOA expects a seamless transition with no disruption in any of the neighborhood services.

• 2025 POOL INFORMATION - See More Under the "Pool Information" Tab

1. The Briarmeadow pool is open as of the first of May. The new pool hours are extended. For a complete schedule go to the Pool Information tab under "Homeowners & Residents".

2. A new key fob system is now in place, offering a convenient and secure way for residents to enjoy the clubhouse and pool amenities. Beginning May 1, the Briarmeadow pool will only be accessible using a key fob. This applies to both Swim at Your Own Risk (SAYOR) hours as well as when lifeguards are on duty. We will no longer use the sign-in book, since scanning your fob will act as your electronic sign-in.
