• SOLICITATION FOR CANDIDATES FOR BRIARMEADOW HOA BOARD - 2026/27 TERM

The Association's Annual Homeowner's Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 7:00 PM, the Clubhouse. Sign-in will begin at 6:30 PM. The purpose of the Annual Meeting will be to elect Board Members. There are three (3) positions to be elected for a 3-year term. 

This is a volunteer Board; there are no special privileges, and no pay, just the satisfaction that you are serving your community. The only qualifications needed are a genuine interest in the welfare of Briarmeadow and its residents, as well as having time to devote to the service. 

If you would like to be placed on the ballot please email Laurissa@GenesisCommunity.com by September 21, 2026, with your name and a brief summary of why you feel that you would be a good candidate. 

• HPD Differential Response Team / Midwest Divisional PIP Meeting is happening Wednesday, September 16th at 7pm. Special Topic: Flock Camaras

The DRT is a special squad in the Houston Police force that focuses on quality-of-life issues. They do not respond to emergencies - 911 is for that. The DRT addresses diverse problems like homeless encampments, un-kept lots, residential improprieties, environmental lawlessness, and business licensing regulations. The Midwest Division of the Houston Police Department is located at 7277 Regency Square, just off of Harwin, and Briarmeadow falls in its boundaries. The Midwest Division has its own DRT, and they are present at every PIP (Positive Interaction Program) meeting specifically to hear the complaints of the citizens residing in their jurisdiction. To take advantage of one of the most effective tools to fix our neighborhood's security issues, please attend the meeting at the Midwest police HQ next Wednesday. Meetings are the third Wednesday of every month.

• Key Fob Distribution

To obtain a pool key fob, please complete and submit the Key Fob Registration Form and the Fob Agreement and Terms of Use form and submit them either:

You may also visit the Genesis office Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to drop off the completed forms and payment. Once they confirm your account is current, you will be able to receive your key fob during your visit.

• New Management Company for Briarmeadow Homeowners 

Genesis Community Management was selected by the HOA Board to assume management of Briarmeadow, effective July 1, 2025. All homeowners who have registered an email address with the HOA should have already received an introductory email from Genesis. Introducing the Genesis Management App

The Genesis Management app is designed to make managing your account and accessing community information simple and convenient. Through the app, you can:

- Pay your maintenance fees

- Access important community documents

- View updates and announcements from your Board

- Monitor your account status in real-time

The app is available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.  Simply search for Genesis Management to get started. You can also access the same features on the desktop version through the Homeowner Portal at www.genesiscommunity.com.

Homeowner Portal Invitation

Homeowners should have already received a separate email from noreply@genesiscommunity.com inviting you to join the Genesis Homeowner Portal. Please accept this invitation, as it will provide access to both the Genesis Management app and the Homeowner Portal through their website.  This portal will be your go-to resource for managing your account, making payments, and staying up to date with community news.

The HOA expects a seamless transition with no disruption in any of the neighborhood services.

• Briarmeadow Stingrays Swim Team Season Concluded

The Briarmeadow Stingrays Summer Swim Team serves neighborhood swimmers in grades K-12.  The 2026 Summer Swim Season has concluded. Registration for the 2027 season will open in March. All returning swimmers will automatically be emailed a registration link at that time. Practices begin in early May, and the season runs through the end of June. Any new families interested in the swim team should email their Briarmeadow address to StingraysHouston@gmail.com with questions or to be added to the email list.
